Your feet travel hope, Roos Galjaard en Sebastiaan Wiering

Singer, songwriter and guitar player Roos Galjaard (1973) started in Gouda as busker, after which she earned a living as a musician in Southern Africa. Since 1995 she has settled in the north of the Netherlands performing under her own name and with the band Gather Roses. Roos has released 6 albums: as a solo artist, with her band Gather Roses and with the duo Roos Galjaard & Sebastiaan Wiering.

Since 2011 Roos is mainly touring with cello player Sebastiaan Wiering. Together they give very lively and passionate concerts. They play beautiful music with influences from folk, pop, jazz, classical and world music with guitar, cello, piano and their two voices.

In May 2022 they released a new album, called Your Feet Travel Hope. It is the result of their musical adventure, in which the collaboration has deepened and they express their emotions over the past few years. The songs are about life, love, grief, longing and hope. The new album contains contributions by Mamour Seck (drums and percussion), Hanneke Ramselaar (oboe), Obed Brinkman (trombone), Benson Enowben Itoe (bass), Tobias Nagel (eguitar), Bauke van der Laaken (piano) and Rudmer van der Meer (eguitar).
